Young Astronomers Mixer: The KASC6 conference will continue the tradition of having a Young Astronomers Mixer. On Monday night we invite all the young astronomers (and all of those young at heart) at the conference to join us at King St Brewhouse in Darling Harbour, only a short walk from the conference venue, for an evening of networking and socializing. We have reserved a portion of the restuarant with a view of Darling Harbour and attendees can partake in 2 for 1 meals and drink specials.

Excursion: No conference is complete without a chance to get out of the conference venue and see a bit of the host city. The excursion for KASC6 will take us to North Head, one of Sydney's numerous National Parks within the city area. The excursion is included as part of your registration, more information about the excursion can be found here.

Astrophysical Pizza Night at Sydney Observatory: Set high on Observatory Hill, with great views of Sydney Harbour, historic Sydney Observatory, opened in 1858, is now a hertiage site, education centre and museum of astronomy. Your special evening begins with a delicious pizza supper (options include vegetarian and gluten free) followed by a tour of historic Sydney Observatory by astronomy guides, Planetarium show and telescope viewing (weather permitting).
