  • The main themes of the conference will be stellar structure and evolution using asteroseismology, stellar activity, and rotation, binary stars, and connections to exoplanets.

    We will cover the follow sessions:
    - Solar-type stars
    - Stellar activity and rotation
    - Red giants
    - Clusters and binaries
    - Stellar population studies and large surveys
    - Compact stars
    - Hot main sequence and RR Lyrae stars

    In addition, the opening and closing session will include:
    - Review of the current state-of-play
    - Discussion on opportunities with the Kepler GO program
    - Future missions targeting stellar astrophysics.
